Adams, Nehemiah (1806-1878)

Adams, Nehemiah. Born in Massachusetts, 1806-1878. A once noted Congregational clergyman of Boston, whose most famous work. A South Side View of Slavery, provoked much hostile criticism. Among other works by him are Walks to Emmaus; Scriptural Argument for Endless Punishment; Remarks on Unitarian Belief; Life of John Eliot; Agnes and the Little Key; Evenings with the Doctrines.
