Præpositus of Corbey in Westphalia under Abbot Wichbold (1131-1174).

He executed with considerable skill and industry a Book of Records of his Order during his own lifetime, which he dedicated to St. Vitus, whose portrait occurs in the first miniature. It is in folio, and on vellum.
