Admirable Crichton

Admirable Crichton. James Crichton, a Scottish gentleman of the sixteenth century, who, at the early age of fourteen, took his degree of Master of Arts, and was considered a prodigy, not only in his abilities, but in actual attainments. [Written also Creighton.]

The editor of the translation before us has collected some anecdotes, one of which is truly singular, and calls to mind the marvelous stories which are told of the Admirable Creighton.
