Ægeria
Ægeria. Also Egeria. (Roman Mythology.) A nymph from whom King Numa Pompilius was fabled to have received his instructions respecting the forms of public worship which he established in Rome. Their interviews took place in a grove near Aricia, or, according to some versions of the story, near Rome.
