Ægyptus. [Greek .] (Greek & Roman Mythology.) A son of Belus, and twin brother of Danaus. He had by several wives fifty sons, who were married to their fifty cousins, the daughters of Danaus, and all but one of whom were murdered by their wives on the bridal night.
