Abbot, Gorham Dummer (1807-1874)

Abbot, Gorham Dummer. Born in Maine, 1807-1874. A Congregational clergyman, long an educator of New York city. He was a brother of Jacob Abbott, infra, but returned to an older spelling of his surname. Writings: Prayer-Book for the Young; Pleasure and Profit; The Family at Home.
